| Rickshaws | Houston | A hip Sushi/ Asian place on Westheimer road 2 miles inside the 610 loop. The Hot Geisha is wonderful and a hose special invention. |
| Outback Steakhouse | Anywhere | OK, I know it is a chain, but when you travel as much as I have been it is nice some days to forgo adventure and go with something you know. Outback is incredibly consistent. |
| Blue Fish | Dallas | Another great sushi place in Dallas I just found a few weeks ago. It is hip and the staff is friendly. Lots of activity. It's just north of Addison on the North Dallas Tollway on the west side of the tollway. |
| Chipotle | Dallas, D.C., Atlanta, Houston, elsewhere | Another chain but this one is killer. It's a cheap mexican burrito place that has super healthy stuff. Free range chicken and pork. I am not sure what magic stuff they put into those burrito bowls but they are addicting! I even looked in to franchising one, but alas they are wholly owned. |

| Hot Spice | Atlanta | I just found this great hip Malaysian/ Thai restaurant right near my house. their take-out service is not too friendly but the restaurant is cool. Great decor. |
| Himilayas | Atlanta | Indian restaurant in Chamblee a few miles form me. Small and cheap but good Indian food. I just found some other Indian places that I am going to check out. I like the Chicken Tikka Sag and some basmati rice. Mmmmm. |
